For the most detailed form, I prefer to work the ring and the crown separately. Once both reach a level of detail I am content with, I melt them together.
Version one: cast, filed, and polished.
Zero ring versions one (silver) and two (wax).
Zero ring version two, freshly cast in sterling silver.
