Designed for quick assembly, the Lane Flatpack Lounge Chair requires no hardware or tools. Drawing inspiration from the minimal-cut patterning of the traditional Japanese kimono, it adapts the intuitive act of dressing oneself to the act of assembling furniture.

The textile components of the Lane chair are a key element of its structure. Attached with ties to the plywood surfaces at three points– at the ends of the support beam and behind the back– the cushion acts as a reinforcing connector to all of the individual parts.
The cushion cover is completely removable for easy cleaning. The foam and batting is protected by another layer of non-removable fabric to help maintain its quality and form.
